Hi everyone, I am sure we have all passed each other in an office appointment! I am in week 9 and so far have lost "16lbs", that is according to my start with the balloon; I have truly lost 21lbs according to my scales highest weight. I have to say this is not the magic pill, quick fix or the cheaters way. I can overeat my balloon, I can stuff just as many calories as I used to in there, but I don't. True, I feel full faster but I am the one choosing the right foods to fill up on. Oh and the exercise thing! Never before have I been such a gym rat. Apparently exercise does help you lose weight, who would have throught that. HaHaHa. I just tell people now that the balloon helps me eat 1200cal/day without trying to kill someone. Now while I am only in week 9, I can't help but linger to the future and think about what will happen when I get it taken out? Will I keep it off? Will I go back to my bad habits? Will I stop going to the gym? I understand that the intent of the balloon is forcing me to make better habits...but what if? On a lighter note.... My balloon has been nicknamed "the 3rd boob". This came along while I was trying to explain to my co-workers how they got it in there and I liked it to a breast implant, and now I have a 3rd boob! I have found that eating meat really late in the evening stickes around for the next morning, gross. And anything with garlic, forget about it-belching city. I did have problems with almost anything I tried the first time like nuts and steak but the second and third time I ate it I was fine. Still can't suck down one of those protein drinks!
