The low carb pre-op diet is just like the Atkins diet minus all the high fat foods. If you are below 40 grams of carbohydrates a day you will do fine. Think....Sauteed fish, chicken kabobs, fajitas minus the tortillas, taco meat over a bed of lettuce, egg dishes, crab cakes, ham.......please add on to the list if you have found other ideas.
