Bellingham weight loss surgery support group is hosted by Pacific Nutrition and Wellness. The support group is a general support group open to all surgeries and open to patients from any program. The group's mission is to provide a positive, solution based group to help support people throughout their weight loss surgery process. People who have already had weight loss surgery and their family members are welcome to attend the group.

The group has been in existence for many years and has a very active, positive feel to it. There is a clothing exchange each month, special guest speakers and event planning. The Wenatchee support group is hosting a workshop for people struggling with weight issues. The work shop will focus on technical ways to overcome obstacles and the attendants will go home with tangable ways to move forward successfully. Friday a full clinic will be held to consult with patients who want to get back on track and would like individual professional help. PACNUT is hosting a bariatric and weight loss clinic open to the public. Lap Band patients who need fills may contact the clinic and register for a full evaluation and adjustment.(qualified patients only) Bypass, gastric sleeve, lap band and general weight loss consultations will be available. Cost depends on insurance verification. Self pay evaluations are 150 for new patients (90) minutes, 60 for existing patients (30 minutes). Lap band fills are $100.00 self pay and there may be a medical office visit charge to your insurance for a medical evaluation by our nurse practitioner. | ||
